While Youtify has a very good search function, it's not exactly been easy to discover new music. Youtify has been a lonesome experience despite all the other users out there. Now we change all that.
User profiles
If you log in to Youtify and look up to the left, you see something new: a picture and a name. Click it to get to your new profile page. Others can visit your profile if you give them the link visible in your browsers address bar (protip: set a nickname to get a nicer URL).
Playlist subscriptions
For example, I know Kalle has a really good Dubstep playlist, and while I can copy that playlist (given that Kalle sends me the link to it), there is no way for me to easily keep track of new songs being added to it. With Youtify v13, I can just go to Kalle's profile, discover all his great playlists and "subscribe" to the ones I like.
News feed
If you find a user you like, you can follow them. This will make their acitivities show up in your News Feed.
This has been in the making for a long time, and we hope you will share all the nice playlists that you have got.
