On a sunny Saturday, 1:st of October, a new version of Youtify was born. This release brings new features, including a new default theme, vastly improved performance and many bug fixes.
1. Along with the new theme, we have made some UI tweaks to give a cleaner look. Among other things we have moved all the share-buttons to the new "heart" symbol. Click it and show us some love!
2. At Youtify, we see performance as a feature and consider load time critical to the user experience, so we are excited to announce that Youtify has just 40% of the HTTP requests and 60% download size of its predecessor.
3. At the end of every release cycle we go in to a feature freeze and try to squash as many bugs as we can. For this release we focused on drag & drop related issues and better support for the Opera web browser.
To celebrate the birth of the newborn child, a rasberry & mango cake was baked, and the gods were much pleased.
